For 2017 the 701 Supermoto received a new Euro 4 single, the most powerful single-cylinder engine Husqvarna had built, with a single overhead cam, twin spark plugs, ride-by-wire and a second balancer shaft. Service intervals stretched to 10,000 km, and it gained black anodised 17-inch wheels and white-dominant graphics, with an A2-compatible version available.
